This ought to make ya laugh. I love it when people make fun of Mama Bush. And the twins.

Mrs. CB is writing a test for her Chemisty students. I offered an equation, to, ya know, help her out. She said she had enough questions, so I offer it to all of you.

2 Le5BiAn + 6-OH* yields (?)

*With -OH being equal to Alcohol.

First one to answer correctly gets a weekend with [livejournal.com profile] theholyinnocent, unless of course, she answers it first, in which case, she gets, uh, a weekend with herself?

I hate it when Mrs. CB brings home work...I get so bored so easily.

After seeing this in a post from [livejournal.com profile] maroukian, I thought this could be a great way for Teh Harem (and anyone else who cares to be involved) to make some money for a naked keg party a needy charity.

I'll volunteer to take the photos, just tell me which month you want to be and what type of "props" you'll need. Keep in mind, more than one person can represent each month. As they say, "the more naked girlies, the more boobies I get to see merrier."

and [livejournal.com profile] ki_finn, don't worry. You can be Teh Fluffer.

I was talking with Daddy #3 who is a conservative Republican...Texan. To my surprise, he didn't gloat about the election. Just said that he's glad it's over and agreed that anti-gay marriage bans are equal to legalized discrimination. He's learning, slowly but surely.

I asked who he thought the Democratic Nominee would be in 2008. With absolutely no hesitation he said Hillary Clinton.

Anyone else agree with this?

I am thinking we need a nominee to run on Teh Harem Ticket. [livejournal.com profile] theholyinnocent has nominated Teresa Heinz Kerry and Martha Stewart. Start submitting your 2008 Dream Teams. I believe the nomination convention will be held in...Canada. Suggestion for convention locations will also be appreciated.

I cannot get over the weather!! We went to see "A Comedy of Errors" at Schiller Park last night and it was such a beautiful evening. And the play rocked. Really. I'm not a huge WS fan, but I do enjoy the comedies. A friend of ours directed this show and changed the setting to 1930's Appalachia...it was very well done.

We met up with some other friends at the park for a picnic before the play. Now, I should give you a little background. Almost everyone I know is somehow associated with community theater here in Columbus, including Mrs. CB. I have not done a play since grade school (not counting the chorus/background that everyone played in our high school musical), but I met my friend Beth about 8 years ago and have slowly been drawn into the fold. In fact, I met Mrs. CB at Beth's Halloween party 5 years ago. I get teased a bit because I am a science nerd, but they still let me play with them.

Anyway, next month is the 2nd Columbus National GLBT Theater Festival.Beth is directing a show called "The PuppetQueers present 'Innuendo'". (The last show was 'Hands Up Our Bottoms')
That's right, kids...it's a big ole gay puppet show with parody songs and life-size puppets.. The LAST show had a cat puppet that was in part, inspired by my late cat, Blue (who got mad when I went on dates and peed on me in revenge). Last night, Beth told me that I had inspired a new puppet this year....wait for it..."Black-n-Decker Dyke". Go me and my tool belt of power and inspiration. I think she said the song was to "Just the Way You Are," but I was laughing too hard to hear properly. She said it is a song about a lesbian who is NOT tool-aware and the puppet will have a bolt sticking out of it's head. Too fucking much fun.

I also wrote a song for the show, but I won't know until tomorrow if we'll use it. It's about the cancellation and final ep of "Xena;Warrior Princess" to the Beatles "Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds". We call it "Lucy on the TV With Breastplates."

Okay, enough computer fun. This Black-n-Decker dyke need to finish the bathroom trim before picking up the Mrs. from her last grad school class (whoo-ho!).
Later!

First, thanks for all the support. I seldom get angry enough to vent on this thing, but the back is acting up so I can't just throw the old lady down...

I heard this part of a statement by acting CIA Director John McLaughlin on the radio this morning:

“The intelligence community of that day was for counterterrorism, 300 people spread-eagled across a dike. We now have a hundred people who do nothing but watch-listing alone,” he said.

All I heard was "Spread-eagle across a dyke" and laughed my ass off. What's wrong with that?

Oh, never mind
