Two Interviews Down, One to Go

The little (being 5'10", anyone under 5'6" is a little person to me), dude from our HR office popped in this morning and asked if I had time to come down and chat about the supervisor's job. It has been almost 5 weeks since the first interview and I was about ready to write it off and start looking outside the company. I walked down on my lunch break and he gave me some basic info on the job and talked about what he is trying to accomplish as far as recruiting lab assistants. My gut, and the way other "higher ups" have been asking my opinion, leads me to believe the job is mine. I have one more interview to go...with the District VP who has a horrible speech impediment. That will be a treat...one can't talk clearly, the other has problems hearing certain accents and pitches.

I have to add that I wasn't expecting this interview today, but something told me to wear my "big-girl bra" and a new non-Tshirt top today instead of a sports bra and OSU Buckeye tee. The twins were looking good...it is nice that I have lost enough weight that I can't see my gut sticking out past my boobs...well not AS much as last year.

Off to nap then I need to clean before dinner. It's POKER night on Sat, and we are hosting.

By the way, Mrs CB got her car back yesterday and IMMEDIATELY went to pick up the mower. Two sagas that have come to an end...thank god!
