I have just completed my absentee ballot, sealed it with a kiss, and added a Batman stamp. I am pretty sure this will be enough for the Dems to retake Ohio. It was very hard for me NOT to write my own name in for Governor, but I considered the greater good and inked in my little oval. Filling out this ballot reminds me of taking those damn test back in grade school except with no #2 pencils.
My Mrs. and I were watching the news, groaning at the images of Bush rallying up the Republicans in Montana, and all I could think was please God, let there be just ONE more White House/Republican scandal before next Tuesday. The next story was about Ted Haggard, an Evangelical leader, adviser to the White House, and a vocal opponent to gay marriage stepping down after accusations of same-sex affair. Manna from the heavens, I say.
I do admit I feel bad for the man's family. And for a hypocritical, anti-gay "Man of God", notsomuch.
