It's just not summer

...without the Ohio State Fair. Corn dogs, here I come! I think we are going to try and go on Friday but only if the weather is cooler. It's too! fucking! hot!!

I am beyond exhausted as we expected I would be. PT was great yesterday but I feel it today. Mom and the kids came down late yesterday evening and I stayed up much later than an early bird should. Mrs. CB has lovingly offered (and arranged with MamaCB) to pick my mom up from the airport tonight so I can get some sleep. I do love that woman. We were amused last night that my 58 yr old mother was bopping around to Spider Bait's "Black Betty". It has since been yousendited (?) and is waiting in Mom's e-mail box on her home computer.

I am now going to go soak in a tub of vodka. Or I would if the word "vodka" didn't still make me wanna hurl. Gawd, it's been over a year already!! I guess I'll soak in a tub of Cuervo instead. Bath salts go with Cuervo, right?

I made Drrrrty Martinis and overdid it on the olive brine. I threw my electrolytes out of whack due to excessive salt intake (I only had 2 small drinks and believe me, I can do MANY more than two) and I got real dizzy and spewed for hours on end. Now I can't drink my beloved vodka nor can I eat green olives. My life sucks do baddddd..../whine

Oh man. Every. Single. Time I've had olives while drinking have I gotten sick, or a terrible hangover. It's really a... thing. I've never actually read about it being a known bad combination, but several of my friends have noticed the exact same thing. So hey, don't dump your beloved vodka over some stupid olives! They're the ones that are evil!

Really? I'll have to check my state fair. I think last year was the year of deep fried corn on the cob on a stick, which is the most disgusting thing EVER. If you see that, DON'T EAT IT. Really. Gross.
