Damned Derby

I always tell Mrs. CB that I love to watch horse racing because horses are such beautiful creatures, but I also hate to watch horse racing- I am always worried that a horse or rider will be injured. The Kentucky Derby made me tear up.

RIP, Eight Belles. That was a hell of a run.

Very sad, and I can't stand the news coverage on it this morning. It's like when they kept showing the Challenger Space Shuttle explode.
