Well dearies, it is time to depart for my trip down memory lane. I plan to listen to 80's music during the drive...Mrs CB LOVES Reo Speedwagon and Air Supply.
The car is packed and I am simply waiting for the Mrs. to get home from school. I tried my outfit on this morning and found that my trousers are now too big. Normally, that would be a wondrous thing, but as the event is in 24 hours...guess I'll be calling Mom to see if she can take them in an inch or two. Or hit the so-called mall in the hometown and see if they have a size smaller.
Mrs. CB will be treated to her first meal at the Kewpee...the best damn hamburger place in the world and the model for the national chain Wendy's. Mmmm..cheesburger pickle on top makes your heart go flippity flop. Really. That's the Kewpee's slogan.
