As I mentioned last week, I decided to leave my job and turned in my resignation letter. Our director held onto it thinking that if they made some adjustments, I would change my mind. Nothing has improved in four years of voicing concerns, so I honestly held no hope that they would change things in four weeks. Having SuperTwat interrupt me FIVE times-to argue with me- while I was trying to explain something to her today was the last straw. I told him to turn in the letter and make it official, and instead of having me for seven more weeks, I'll be leaving in three.

Mrs. CB is so damn supportive, both emotionally and soon-to-be financially, and this has been a decision that we made together. Oh, and I was called last Friday for a job interview- a mere 36 hours after submitting my application. The interview went extremely well and they are checking references, so, well, we're keeping our fingers crossed. Another person in my department interviewed for the same job, but isn't aware that I interviewed for it as well. I don't think I'm gonna share that with her, either. Now I have to decide what to say in my exit interview. Do I tell them that I am leaving,in part, because of SuperTwat or the standard "I'm looking for new options" in case I want to return to the company someday? I don't want to burn any bridges, but I wouldn't mind seeing that bitch get fired. Then gutted, drawn and quartered. And decapitated.

I think my old boss and I are going out for lunch and green beers tomorrow. We had a rather enjoyable conversation detailing our "incidents" with SuperTwat before I left today. I just hope she isn't going to try and get me ~~drunk~~ to change my mind again.
