Seventies Child

It looks like they made some changes over on TWoP, and just in time. There is a separate Law and Order forum with subforums for each show. If you haven't been there in a while, check it out.

The power went out at work just before I left for the day. That was almost 5 hours ago. It's still out and is not expected back up until after 8:00pm which will push 2nd shift work into 3rd shift. Third will fall onto first... Throw in the thunderstorm/snow we are expecting and I think tomorrow would be a great day to call off. Oh, and I stabbed myself in the thumb while trying to rig a switch on my microscope. Kinda been a craptacular Monday.

The wife comes home, we get her shit organized and then we settle in to listen to the OSU
Big Ten tourney game. Just as I am about to click off the tube, a message scrolls across the screen directing us to a channels that is going to show the game (FSN had scheduled to televise the tape-delay at fucking midnight!) Thrilled with this last-second stroke of luck, we settle in and watch the game. They lose in OT by 3 points. Damn. But the NCAA March Madness starts soon.

The OSU men DID beat the #1 men's team, ruining Illinois' unbeaten season. I'd apologize to all my Illinois friends, but it was really a good game.

In other news, I spent an enjoyable Fri. night chatting with friends while downing a bottle of Shirz. Watching Mariska Hargitay on Leno is okay. Watching her on Leno, drunk, and with snarky friends, priceless. Of course I got no writing done yesterday because I was hung-over, but it was actually worth it.

Time to go find something for dinner. BLT yumminess...with no "L".

I just realized that I am approaching the one-year anniversary of being on LJ. With the exception of invisible_sun (we'll miss ya Andy! Who will be Xenia:White Trash Princess at the Halloween parties?), I have gotten to know all of you through the Law and Order universes. So here are my questions for the day.

I was a huge X-Files fan, then X:WP. I kinda fell into the A/O ship by accident.

I have only written for SVU.

I am hoping that TBJ will let me play with Amy Carlson...I have liked her since she played Josie on Another World.
