We are only expecting about 5" of snow, but people around here act like it's a fucking blizzard with 25 million inches of snow and OMG NOES!!! they are out of milk and diet pepsi and smokes. The store was way too fucking busy as I picked up our blizzard supplies(sing it with me now): 3 bottles of wine, two pints of ice cream and a Betty Crocker Brow-ow-nie Mix. Storm cometh, they say; PMS cometh as well, I say.

It would be nice if Mrs. CB didn't have school tomorrow. Maybe we would actually put up the Christmas decorations. Oh who am I fooling...we'd watch Bad Girls all day.

Speaking of which...off to write.


ETA: We only got about 2.5"...what a bummer. Mrs. CB had to go to school and she pouted the whole time she was getting ready ;)

I'm the MLI near the left side of the map. It's been snowing all day, and I think it's lovely. Of course, most people are bitching, but they don't appreciate the prettiness. (I love snow. My landlord, who was shoveling as I walked up, thinks I'm crazy. Sigh.)

and as for snow-phobia... I didn't have to be into the office until 10am this morning - we got... a dusting... barely

some guy called into a radio station when they wanted to know why everyone insists on buying bread and eggs when snow is a-coming... he said those people are stupid - snowin' calls for beer and beef...

HAHA! You got nailed! But so did we, and we were way up in the north hills of the Burgh with friends for dinner, at a place with a huge fire pit, (we didn't want to leave- the storm looked so pretty through the windows). It took us an hour to get home! M was mesmerized, and in her glory- she has never seen this much snow in her entire life, (it is 80 degrees in Tel Aviv right now)

We got lucky wit the snow, but the current wind chill is barely above zero.

I'll take some of that snow off your hands.

Its so not like Christmas here. We went to get our Christmas tree, I was in t-shirt and shorts. Maybe I'll turn down the A/C and we can make believe while decorating the tree. I would love freezing cold weather outside and a warm fire inside. We have a fireplace, which has never been used.

I hope you and Ms. CB rode out the storm with warm brownies and wine.
