At least she's gone - what we get next may be worse, but this is a "victory," if only because criticism (from *both* sides) forced Bush to back down about something.

It says a lot that the liberal criticism of her was "how on earth is she qualified?" and the conservative one was, "how do we know she'll always be on our side!"
