Hurricanes, Nosebleeds, and Money

I hope everyone in the southern part of the country is safe from that whore, Katrina. We have a branch facility in Alabama and before I left work today I heard they were powerless and in the midst of tornados. So we are keeping everyone in our prayers as the storm tracks north.

I had a nose bleed all over my lab coat today because of my donut addiction.I was sitting at my microscope and heard someone outside my door mention "Tim Hortons". Like a Pavlovian dog hearing a bell, I turned my head too quickly as I was jumping out of my seat and cracked the bridge of my nose on one of the oculars. Sometimes I really hate Mondays. And no, I didn't get any donuts. Fookers.

I have in my hands a sizeable paycheck from my recently re-approved disability insurance. I tell you ladies and gents, DRINKS ARE ON ME!!!!!!

Unfortunately, this means my tenure as a "kept" woman is over. Unless I don't tell her...
