I was finally trying to catch up on TWoP today when I came across the end of A/O writing as we know it. The site is (was) run by TallGirl, the writer of "Brown Eyes Blue". Apparently an argument started on the Yahoo alexolivia group (again!!)and it got out of hand. Now all posts are being monitored. Man. I am so glad I quit posting there.

Of course, this also means an end of those Alex/Olivia Barbie pics...c'mon, you know you looked at them too XD

I have never dealt with a more idiotic, egocentric, confrontational person in all my time as svufic validator. Mr.Monk AKA TallGirl would absolutely freak out if you sent a no letter. I rejected the first chapter because it had random capitalizations throughout the story. She sent me back an email where she called me "sweetie", and basically told me I was a complete idiot. Then she emailed another validator in an attempt to go "over my head." I cringed every time I saw this fucktard's crap sitting in the queue, and let me say: Fuck you, you insane freak. Fuck your dolls too.

God, I can't believe how much it makes sense now. I thought mr.Monk was a slightly off kilter douchebag with a very high opinion of their writing skills. Turns out it was that freak the entire time!

It was just this weird situation where I got friendly with her way back in the day - she emailed me some comments on some of my fics, and I struck up a sort of correspondence with her, and slowly realized she was insane, but by then, well - she called me at work a couple of times, despite the fact that I had never given her my work number. Or my home number. Or my full name. I had mentioned where I worked at some point, I guess, and she tracked me down by my first name? It scared the living crap out of me. And then there was a thing where she offered me phone sex but, well, even longer story there.

I don't want this getting all over the fandom, just 'cause I am seriously a little frightened of this woman - I was quite shocked when she tracked me down where I work, and she's very vitriolic and just plain nuts - but as long as it stays in flocked posts it's okay. I just hope no one who sees this will discuss it in a public forum, because, dude, seriously, scary.
