Red, White and Boom!!!

cabensonNo swimming this morning as I woke up with a bad case of the snots. I am not sure if it's the chlorine in the pool or my allergies going ape-shit, but I am worried about a sinus infection or bronchitis. Coughing and sneezing is still incredibly painful, so I will wait until this afternoon to see if the allergy meds clear it up.
I am getting my hair cut in 2 hrs. Mrs. CB and I got on one of those "virtual salons" to see what I'd look like with shorter hair. It was great fun. They had an "alternate" hairstles category and I must say I was not surprised to see that I do not wear a fro well. Or dreads. Or bangs. I was a bit stunned to see that I did not look half bad as a blonde. We whittled it down to 3 styles, but I am leaning towards the one that will keep some curls.
Tonight is the city's big fireworks show. Columbus does theirs early so all the little burbs can do theirs on the 3rd or 4th. I have never gone down to the celebration-they are getting closer to 500,000 people there every year and that's about 499,990 people too many for me. They televise them, so we'll either watch from home or record them. It would be the perfect time to see War of the Worlds, so I may have to do some bribing.
