I have doing a ton of reading in the last few weeks, and it got me thinking.

What were your favorite books when you were younger (pre-teen).

My Answer: The Bobbsey Twins, Encyclopedia Brown-no wonder I love mystery books

When I was in early elementary school I read a lot of Sweet Valley Twins and Babysitters Club. In about fourth grade I got into the "Fear Street" books and the Christopher Pike ones. In sixth grade I read every book in the local public library filed in the 131.1 section (paranormal nonfiction stuff, ghosts, etc.). Love that crap.

The Baby Sitters Club. It was my literary crack-cocaine. I read every installment I could get my sweaty little hands on.
