Happy Valentine's Day a little early

Mrs. CB and I celebrated V-Day last night so we could drink as much as we wanted without having to worry about having a hangover for work. I made steak, asparagus, and sauteed mushrooms. We had chocolate mousse and chocolate/hazelnut torte as well as a couple of chocolate covered strawberries.

Mrs. CB was shocked off her ass when I gave her the tickets for the concert. She had no idea the Indigo Girls were going to be in town and spent a little too much time caressing the tickets. I almost left the room to give them some privacy. Almost.

We are enjoying a cold, rainy day of basketball. A lot of people have teased me about my interest in the OSU women's team. The main interest, for me anyway, is a gal (Caity Matter in my icon) from a small town near my hometown. We wound up with season tickets right in front of her family and friends and cheering for Caity Matter always made me feel like I was home. Last Valentine's Day, her 15-yr old brother was killed in a car accident. The entire OSU Women's BBall community was devastated, including Mrs. CB and myself. Ricky had sat right behind me during the previous game. Ous paper ran a story on Caity and her family today. ( A beautiful story about a loving sibling relationship )
