Pussy Love and other things

My head feels like a lead balloon. And like I have been shot through the right eye. Worse sinus infection evah. I can handle the fever and chills and shit, but the sinus pain and pressure makes me want to drill holes in my head. Good thing Mrs. CB hid my tools.

I am going home for Thanksgiving this year. My uncle, who is only a few years older than me, will be joining us and I am looking forward to seeing him. It's been two years which is unacceptable since he only loves 30 minutes away. When I go home to visit my mom, I usually stay in a hotel because my stepdad smokes (I'm allergic) and they have two yippy Jack Russel terriers(I pretend to be allergic). My regular hotel is sold out so I had to upgrade to a fancier place. If it's nice, I'll book us a room when we go home for Christmas.

I suppose I better go shower. We are gonna try going to brunch since last night's fancy night out turned into grilled cheese and Batman Begins on dvd. Stoopid head.

Mrs. CB is a wonder woman! Really, she is. She knew I was feeling like shit this morning so she got me a book to make me feel better. Anyone who grew up in the 70's needs to read ,
The Stewardess Is Flying the Plane!. Great fun and absolutely spot on timing wise as NBC is showing the first part of The Poseidon Adventure remake tonight. It can't possibly be as good as the original-CLASSIC!! but it still has a sinking ship. I wonder what Freud would think of my fascination with movies that involves ships , subs or planes sinking in the ocean? And I wonder why I'm afraid to travel.
