I've resigned. I put in my notice today and it feels WONDERFUL!! Of course, they asked me to reconsider and give them a chance to work on some of the major issues, but I don't see how they can get things fixed and/or people fired in 8 weeks. And yes, I said 8 weeks- I gave early notice because we have a tech going off to war at the same time and now we'll have time to train someone to take my place. So I offered to wait and see how things are progressing but if nothing has changed, and they have failed to offer up Teh Bitch on a sacrificial alter, I'm gone. All of the hospitals are hiring and even if I have to work evenings or nights, it won't be the Hell Lab and the headaches might stop.

Mrs. CB is playing hooky tomorrow :) We are going out to dinner tonight and then catching artskat's group, The PuppetQueers in their first "Best of the Show" show. Then I think we are all going drinking afterward.


It is 60 degrees out, but very gloomy. I opened the windows in the livingroom and I have five very happy boys pressing their noses against the screens. I pretty much missed last spring and early summer, so I am looking forward to some nicer weather.

I suppose I better go grab a nap so I won't be crankier than usual tonight.
