Doo Dah Parade 2007

Hope everyone had a safe and Happy 4th of July. Mrs. CB and I began our celebration on the 3rd by attending a Red, White, and Boom party at my new office building. We all climbed up into the roof and had the most wonderful view of the fireworks. Off course, trying to get half a million people out of downtown Columbus takes for ever so we didn't get home til almost midnight...but it was fun.

Yesterday, I busted my Doo Dah Parade cherry. I have been here 17 years and have never seen this parade...it was fantastic! We sat on the curb and watched the parade and then went to Emack and Bolio's for tasty ice creamness. It started to sprinkle as we left the ice cream place and by the time we arrived at our movie theater of choice, it was freaking pouring outside. The sidewalks were flooded. And since I am too delicate to be rained upon the theater was jam-packed, we retreated to our castle and cozied up with the boys, wine, doritos, and Spiderman. Good times.

Today we are going out for lunch, trying the theater again, and/or maybe walking around the mall. Walking and shopping counts as a cardio workout, right? Oh, and on a workout note, I have found that this trial asthma inhaler is the shit! I can breath so much better and by the end of my workout I am no longer a wheezing bag o' fat.

Not getting much writing or vidding done during these days off, but there is always this weekend...

There is a fucking snail on my livingroom floor! I am waiting for Mrs. CB to arrive home and dispose of it because I am a fucking wuss and fear teh snails of doom!
