So, Mrs. CB and I are watching Red Mercury, a movie with Lahboob, and I decide to take a pee break. I put the flick on pause and we hear this wailing siren outside. Unknown to us, it seems a wee storm developed that had a couple funnel clouds. And Hail. And Damaging Winds of Doom!! We did the "shove the cats down the basement door" dance (with one dastardly escapee-see icon)and then watched the wind and rain as the center of the system went over our neighborhood. Never strong enough for us to hit the basement, and the electric never even flickered.
Good news- our new gutters performed marvelously and we had no downed branches or hail. No water in the basement abd the cats aren't that pissed.
Bad News- luckily, we have none. I did have to put on proper attire as I didn't want to be dug out of the basement with pj bottoms and a tee shirt with no bra on in the event a tornado DID hit us.
Looks like there might have been a funnel cloud sighting on Lane Ave (near OSU) and by the airport which is only 10 minutes away.
Storm systems on radar look like vajajays. Just saying.
Oh, and the movie was actually very interesting. Not much Lahboob, but a good little flick.
