Rainy Snow Day

So that nasty winter storm we were expecting? Pretty much missed us. Got tons of rain and a little ice. I got up early in case it WAS crappy out so I could get to work on time, and Mrs. CB said not to worry, it's only rain. Twenty minutes later, she comes in and tells me they closed her school! For rain?
I guess the side streets and sidewalks had enough black ice from earlier in the morning to cause some concern. I went ahead and came in early.

Actually, I'm glad Mrs. CB has the day off, she was looking mighty pale this morning. I strongly urged her to get some rest today, but she is a stubborn woman and talked only of cleaning the house. We are meeting Daddy #3 for dinner unless the weather worsens between now and this evening.

I have been working on a JJ/Emilymusic vid for Criminal Minds. Almost done with the rough editing, then I can spend a day or so with timing and effects and changing my mind about everything. Hope to start my Epic fic next week...hopefully, if I don't get distracted by Emily/Strauss hate sex ;)

After getting my CT results, my doc put me on the antibiotic Levaquin for 21 days. By day 3 I was experiencing the systemic joint pain and inflammation. By day 5, I had stopped taking it. Very few MD's know about this serious side effect, my doc included, and that really concerns me. This stuff causes tendon ruptures and I actually popped my shoulder out(while I was SLEEPING!!) last year while I was on it. She probably thinks I'm crazy, so to get rid of me she set me up with an ENT next week. I'd really like to get rid of this infection and start feeling good again, it's only been 4 months...
