cabenson: (hahn appointment)
I had today off (working this weekend) and I slept in until Bruin woke me up at 10:00. I haven't slept that late in a long time, but in my defense, I didn't sleep well last night because of the windstorm. After surviving a week without power thanks to Ike last September, I was a little worried when the light started flickering about 11:30 last night. Power went out for about a minute and stayed on all night. Of course as soon as I turned on the coffee at 10:05 this morning, the power went out again. I immediately started making a mental list of what I would NOT be able to accomplish today(including having a cup of joe BEFORE I started to shave my legs-and let me tell ya, that is dangerous, people!) and just a mere thirty minutes later, it popped back on. Whew!

Had yet another doctor's appt today-thinking of starting a second career as a chronic patient. Looks like I don't have to worry about losing Ned the Nodule as he is very small at this point. Follow up blood work in 2 weeks with another ultrasound this summer. We were both laughing at how all this stuff (anemia, hypothyroidism, vitamin d deficiency, iron store depletion)all seemed to hit at the same time. My body is simply The Perfect Storm. We are still looking for the cause of the anemia...colonoscopy anyone?

Not much else going on. Mrs CB has a horrific cold and I feel awful for her because she has to stay tonight for parent/teacher conferences. Then she has a big field trip tomorrow. Hopefully she will get some rest this weekend while I am at work. No big Valentine's day plans right now.

[livejournal.com profile] badtyler started up my ABC/Grey's rage again. Oh big stoopid show, why can't I quit you? I have this great theory about why everything is so "off" this year, and the news of more peeps leaving only strengthens it. I was gonna post it here, but I may incorporate it into some other project.

Okay, off to clean litterboxes, yeah :(
