Friday Night Fever

cabensonTonight is the Indigo Girls concert. A band called Magnapop (Thanks Nic..I kept searching for Mangopops) is opening. The good thing: Mrs CB is Soooooo stoked about going. The bad thing: It's general admission and standing room...no seats. So after we stand in line outside the door for at least an hour,in what looks to be Noah's Flood-part 2, we have to stand the rest of the night. I have been told that I need to take my cane. I think my cane needs a name...any suggestions?
We went to do our part in supporting the economy today. I got the final season of X:WP and Mrs CB got a CD by Le Tigre. We went to a local Meh-hee-can place for lunch and after just one margarita, Mrs CB blurted out a surprise she was getting me for my birthday. Season passes! I hope my sister's kids come up this summer. We had so much fun taking them there a couple of years ago. Opening week is mid-May...I am really looking forward to spending time there.
And I was wondering if someone could tell me just when I became so old that I need a nap every damn afternoon?
And could someone tell my boy, Smokey(aka Pecker Smoker), that the mommies are on vaca and do not require a 4:30am wake up call?
Okay...off to find my official Central Ohio Dyke Social Event uniform.
