Drug warning issued. I told my doctor that levaquin caused pain and swelling in my joints just three days after I started taking it. She didn't believe me. Guess she will when I send her a copy of this article along with the request to transfer my records to my NEW doctor....dumbass.

I never understood what the deal with doctors not believing their patients was. Dude...why would a patient lie about swelling in her joints?

Alas I've had to do something similar with doctors. Mine took two weeks to mention anxiety at all when I thought I was having heart failure that turned out to be anxiety. You'd think the academic requirement to get into the medical profession would mean that doctors are smart. Apparently not...
