Fatigue, thy name is Cabenson!
Aug. 27th, 2004 09:20 pmWhen does extra sleep become too much sleep? Last night after dinner, I decided to take a little nap before SVU came on. I laid down at 6:00pm and woke up this morning at 8:00 am...14 freaking hours later. Mrs CB said she laughed when she heard my timer go off at 7:00pm and a mumbled "Aw, fuck it!" coming from me as I tossed the timer against the wall. So, after 14 hours of sleep, I spent a few hours doing stuff around the house, and decided to take another nap at noon. I slept for two more hours. That's 16 hours of sleep in a 20-hour period. I told the Mrs. that she better not have given me mono. She swears she doesn't have it and said that is I caught it from anyone, it was from one of "those LJ people"...so, you are all on notice!
We just got home from the hockey game. World Cup exhibition (read "Practice")USA vs. Russia. We left at the end of the 2nd period, USA leading 2 to zip. Ah, it looks like we won. Russia had the PP 6 on 3...hah!
Weather report. It is 82 out but feels like 87. Hot, sticky, hard to breathe. It was nice all summer, but someone must have told MOther Nature that school was staring again.

Date: 2004-08-28 01:22 am (UTC)I'm maintaining my innocence, though, because nothing's been confirmed and I don't spend that much time sending you messages or receiving them. That's right, your evidence is circumstantial and I have an alibi.
If, by chance, you take *legal action* maybe I could get Alex to come out of witness protection and work as my defence attorney? I know she normally does prosecution, but any excuse to stand next to her and look at her for extended periods of time should be worth the risk of a loss due to inexperience in defence, am I right? (Yes, I realise NONE of this would EVER happen).
