1. Boobies-what can I say? I like boobies.

2. Red wine or white?-red all the way. I love the richness of a good red, especially ones from South America and Australia. There are few things I am snobbish about, and wine is definitely one of them. Also red goes wonderfully with one of my other snobbish things, good chocolate.

3. Helen or Alex?-damn, this is tough. I love them both. They are strong women in positions of power and are gorgeous, but I have to go with Helen Stewart though due to that smoking accent and her contribution to my love of #1.

4. Todd- my alter ego, based on Todd the Surgeon from SCRUBS. Todd is just your friendly neighborhood pervert and gargoyle slayer. And he's hot.

5. Mrs. CB- what can I say? She deserves much better than me, that is for sure.

1. Vodka, sweetie-vodka is a significant part of my "Triple-V Lumbar Therapy"- Vodka, Vicodin and Valium (this also applies to #2). I broke up with vodka a few years ago, but with counselling we were able to work out our differences and we now have a mutually respectful relationship.

2. Absolutely Fabulous- LOVE IT! My BFF got me hooked on it oh so many years ago. I am Patsy to Mrs. CB's Eddie. Plus I really enjoy British comedy.

3. Playing dress-up- only at Halloween and we do try hard to find something original, yet part of pop culture. Best costumes had to be a tie between a) Dexter, boy genius and Velma from Scooby Doo and b)Mary Katherine Gallaghar and Sr. Mary Libida.

4. Erica Hahn- I rarely get attached to television characters, but Dr. Erica Hahn was something else. Bold, ballsy, brash and blonde, she brought an adult presence to the rather juvenile staff at Seattle Grace Hospital. Watching her go from outsider to Callie's lover to outsider once again was a delightful, albeit often painful, journey to watch. I really think that had she been written properly, and the writers given a chance to delve into her rich backstory that she would have been an even more iconic television character for women of all sexual orientations. The way the character was written off was a travesty and I still hope, in vain, I'm sure, to see her on screen once again. And that's not even touching on Brooke Smith, the actress who brought this character to life. I wrote a much longer thing about this back here.

5. Video creation- The past few years have seen a decrease in me writing fanfiction because of me "losing my words". We now know that this was most likely attributed to the health issues I now have. So, I started editing videos because I felt I could use music and lyrics to tell a better story than I could words. I usually hear a song or a melody and from there I try to find the perfect pairing for the song. I take my time in order to get the rhythms and lyrics to match the clips as perfectly as possible. Sometimes it takes weeks, but on the rare occasion, I can slap one together in just a few hours. "Answer", my JJ/Emily vid was completed in 3 hours.

I completely agree with you on the video creation - I can express myself much better through that than writing or speaking. Some particularly lovely songs say exactly what I'm feeling and it's so gratifying to see it come together. I hardly ever get that with writing (it's why almost everything I've ever written is hidden on my computer and has not seen the light of day).

Also, Todd? LOVE! :D

I think Mr. Pinot and the Viscountess Vodka may have hand the occasional hand in that as well. :)

I think you hit the nail on the head as to why I've stopped watching Grey's. With Addison, and I'd even add Burke, there was a balance to the sorta juvenile antics of the residents but, since then, Seattle Grace really has turned into a high school, taking down characters like the Chief and Bailey with them.

As you said, I liked that Hahn was a 'grown up' but then the PTB put her in the orbit of Callie and Mark. And rather than using Hahn to 'mature' those two characters, they made her play *their* game as opposed to vice-versa turning the triangle into more about 'Callie's Big Gay Panic' and 'Mark's Penis' and less and less about Hahn.

I agree with the red wines, although I find South Africa and France to be my preferred drinking patches (which a few notable Australian exceptions). White and I... we're too selective in what works, and don't even mention the c word (I do of course mean chardonnay...)

If you'd like me to jump on the meme bandwagon, feel free to lob something my direction, otherwise I'm just waving from my cellar *g*

I couldn't agree with you more on #4. I think we might be sharing the same brain because you read my mind right there. I never watched Grey's before Hahn and I haven't watched it since she was inexplicably and clumsily written off. I blame the writers/ Shonda for woefully mishandling Hahn and the Callica storyline. I never get attached to tv characters, not since Willow on Buffy. So this is rare for me and I'm still reeling from how everything imploded. And yeah, "travesty" is the perfect word for it.

Meme Things?
