cabensonTwo weeks ago we were supposed to take The Twins to the vet for their annual check-ups and shots. Asher took off and hid in the basement so we wound up taking Greyson in his place. Today we had an appointment for Artie and Asher, and in preparation, we blocked of the pet door to the basement and closed the bedroom doors. Asher likes to hide during the day, and we did not want to spend a lot of time searching for him and I can't lock him up in the office...he cries so damn much it breaks my heart. /wuss
So, five minutes before it's time to go, Mrs CB lets out, "That little fucker!" He had moved the cat litter blocking the pet door and had gone to the basement. After sending Mrs. CB ahead to the vet with Artie, I continued to search for the little shit. He loved to hide on the heating/AC vents, and lo and behold, that's where I found him (that is Asher in his hidey-hole in my icon) He expressed his discontent all the way to the vet, while at the vet, and then all the way home again.
I expressed my discontent when I saw that the dash of my car had developed a small crack from the heat. Shitfuckdamn!
Out running some errands today, I got caught in a raging rainstorm. I looked like a losing participant in a wet t-shirt contest by the time I got home. More storm and flood watches tonight. I am betting the electric will go out again sometime this evening.
