Back on the chain gang

cabensonJust got a call from The Big Boss. I do not have to go in at 8:00 Monday when I return to work from my adventures in back surgery. I will keep my 5:00am-1:30 pm hours but will occasionally be asked to come in at 6:00am. However, if I have therapy scheduled, they cannot make me change my hours. And he mentioned something about "more responsibilities"-oh fuck that, I don't want 'em. I swear, the more I talk to him, the more it sounds as if things there have just been totally fucked up over the last 4 months. Another good reason to get the hell out of Dodge.
He did ask me to attend a 4 hour long training seminar my first day back. I have restrictions that keep me from sitting more than 30 minutes at a time so I will have to get up and leave the room every 30 minutes, walk around, get a drink and then come back. He promised to tell the guy giving the seminar, but I'm sure it will be forgotten. I really, REALLY hate that place.
In other news, because you KNOW you want to know:
We will be heading out shortly to continue our never-ending search for Dune. I burned copies of the cast recording and bootleg video of WICKED for my niece. I need to get hold of mom to find out when they are coming back so we can plan accordingly.
I have my PT evaluation later this afternoon which will involve a young lovely touching me :)Never fear, Mrs. CB is going with me and then we are going to watch some friends perform Shakey in the Park. "Romeo and Juliet" tonight-we need to pick up some snacks and wine. And pack a corkscrew. /winesnob
Last night Mrs CB and I watched Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back. I love Kevin Smith so, especially for having his wife make out with a hot blonde chick.
