cabensonI got suckered into chaperoning a gay teen dance tonight. And Mrs. CB has to go as well to chaperone me.
Actually, I'm kinda looking forward to this. Mrs. CB has been mentoring for over a year now and she really seems to enjoy it. I think I'd like to start as soon as I feel a little bit stronger. I wish we had had these resources when I was a kid...so much time and Sooooo many women wasted.
Mrs. CB has been having trouble with staying asleep through the night and finally went to the doc and got some good drugs. She took them for the first time last night and like BOOM-she was out. But, I had insomnia and when I went to check on her (cause I'm disgustingly sweet that way) she wasn't snoring. In fact, I couldn't tell if she was even breathing. I guess I could have shoved a mirror under her nose, but I didn't feel like getting up, so I kinda poked at her and sonofabitch- she woke up. But she went right back to sleep, so I didn't think she was aware until I was reading my flist this morning. Busted.
We spent this afternoon going through DVDs and CDs at our favorite shop which is closing and liquidating stock. We came home with 8-10 CDs including...Richard Marx. What? Anyway, we had a great time and I realized that with the exception of NYE, we didn't do anything together all during break/vaca. I've been writing and she's been reading. So next weekend we will be spending "together time" planning our trip. Or trying to figure out how to work around those TRO's.
