Never been so happy being Blue

cabensonI am still in a state of ecstatic disbelief over the elections. I feel like I woke up in an AU version of the United States. I am enjoying the election results and good things keep sliding the Democratic way, and then lo and behold, one of the main players gets offed "retired". My state is now Blue, the House is Blue and it's quite possible that the Senate will be Blue too. Now, if Cheney would just quit breathing and turn blue...Let's all send him triple cheeseburgers!
So, local election results: not much news.
State election results: Dem Gov, Dem Senator, our district's congressional seat is still undecided, but it looks like Pryce the Republican keeps her seat, State Smoking Ban passed while the Smoke Less amendment failed, Gambling failed, Minimum wage increase passed, Dem Sec'y of State. So if there are issues in Nov 2008, don't be bitching about Ohio...yes. I'm looking at you.
Oh, and Britney's a single mom. Dumped K-Fed by email. Sanctity of marriage, y'all.
