Everyone knows it's Windy

So, it's a little bit breezy here in Buckeyeland. We have gone from a balmy 65 F this morning to a damned nipply 32F which feels like 20 F due to windchill. The wind was blowing so hard earlier that Mrs. CB was blown into the fence and ripped her pants...at least that's the story she's telling me. Wind-sometimes you break it, sometimes, it breaks you.
What a week. I had my first confrontation with a co-worker (she yelled at me, I calmly encouraged her tofuck off consult with our supervisor about her concerns as I was doing what the boss had asked me to do. Boss supported me, I laughed silently inside, co-worker continues to sulk.
Mrs. CB took Greyson to the vet to make sure nothing was wrong with his back and he seems to be okay :) Looks like he has developed a hypersensitivity, as many cats do. Thank god! I swear if anything happened to that cat, Mrs. CB would be inconsolable, as would I.
Other news, lemme see... Oh yeah, Daddy #2 (step-father for those playing along) was notified 3 weeks ago that after 29 years, he no longer had a job. His place of business was bought out by a new company who brought their own people in. Yesterday he was offered a divisional job with the same company based in the same town. No move for them, but he had some good friends who are gone for good. I am relieved for them, and for me. I was concerned they might move down here. We need to keep 100 miles between us to maintain a healthy, happy family relationship.
I am thinking about doing a new layout for my journal, but I'm not sure yet. It would still have to have the Scottish Midget in some context.
Christmas party tomorrow night with our theater friends where we will eat, drink, enjoy each others' company, and remember those who are no longer with us.
Happy Friday!
