Funny stuff. We had a new fan installed in our bedroom (cause it's smoking hott, people!)on Friday. When the guy was done, he very kindly brought the box out and while handing it to Mrs. CB, smirked and said, "Here's your box, maam." Inside the box was Mr. Bruin Thomas. The guy busted out laughing as did Mrs. CB. I swear, Bruin will crawl into a kleenex box just to show that he can.

We also had a dusk-to-dawn light installed outside to light up the area around our often-violated shed. As it got darker, and we got drunker, we watched to see how much light it gave off. Mrs. CB took off out the back door to , and I quote, "Look at our big muthafuckin' light!" Oh how we enjoy the simple pleasures :)

Let's see, any other news. artskatgot the ass. (snort) prof. job at OSU. Get me football tickets, bitch! I learned FTP today as I work with eclecticfanto get my webpage up. And, I made meatloaf for dinner. I resigned as a mod at Mariskafans.com because I am SO over MH and fangrrls I simpley have no extra time. I am also signing up for NaNoWriMo 2006- it's gonna be one of two epic fanfic ideas I have had stewing in my head for a LONG time. Sign up people so I have others to commiserate with. Mrs. CB is even thinking about signing up.

For those awaiting Wire in the Blood 403, we had a torrent issue so I got the upload late today. It's converting as we speak and I should have links to post tomorrow evening when I get home from work. Thanks again, aleatory_6

I loved the fact that they let her say "tits", but had she actually flashed on, there would have been an uproar. (Maybe they didn't catch the word because of the accent?... though they let Calista Flockheart stumble over the same word, so..??)

Why did I torture myself with watching the emmys? Now I'm just really disappointed, and also screaming ungodly things at the television because surely Mariska slept with everyone someone to get that award.

I wasn't really impressed with the line-up in this category, but then I don't watch the shows. I guess if I had to choose I would probably have preffered Allison Janney to win?

I'm still bitter Edie Falco wasn't nominated. :(

Not only did Oliska win, but (as sparklebunny noted) she looked like a bad Lahboob clone. The hair. Blonde? I couldn't bear to watch this one.

Mrs CB's article sounds fantastic. I'll be really interested to read it, since I could very well be a teacher. At least that's what I tell people when they tilt their heads and say 'English Major?'. Give me ten years ;)
