cabensonI love weekends...when I don't have to work! We only staff one person for a Sat. dayshift on the weekends, uhm, 8:00-4:30pm. Our regular guy has a bunch of Sats. off for OSU football (GO BUCKS!!!!!)games, so I volunteered to cover his shift today. B-O-R-I-N-G!!! They really need to reconsider this shift. They pay me WAY too much (overtime, babay!) to sit on the Interwebs for 8 hrs. Anyway, I am home, the wine is open and I am drinking the open wine. Mrs. CB is at the last round of volleyball games she has been working this week. I am hoping she will make a food run on the way home as I had no lunch.
Mrs. CB and I bought a variety case of wine yesterday. I bet that will last till the end of the month, especially since I have found that I play certain word games much better when I'm lit. For Halloween, we picked up Vampire Pinot Noir and Pinot Evil which will probably taste like monkey piss, but hey, it's wine, I'll drink it. artskat's annual bash. We thought about going as Maude and Edith Bunker (you had to live in the 70's), but something better caught our eye. Naked pics of Simone Lahbib to the person that correctly guesses our TV-show focused character costumes before Friday, October 27, 2006.
What else...my back still hurts, but not as bad. I have a very odd muscular cramping around my left ribcage-right under my big left tata. I had a severe abdominal muscle pull there about 6 years ago-Thank you, Mrs CB ;)- and it has never quite felt right. So I am gonna take a muscle relaxer and curl up with one of my Mr. Kitties till the wife comes dragging home.
Oh, I am doing NaNoWriMo this year. I am going to try to do an "auto-Frye-ography", a humorous, and partially made-up look at the last 40 years of my life. I am also working on a BG vid forralst's "Fandom of the Month" thingy. I have a great song and a great idea...I just need to find the time to put it together. I watched a couple DVD's at work...damn how I have missed my sweet Helen Stewart and Nikki Wade. Must! Write! Fic!!
And finally, Frak the frak out of me. BSG is the best damn show on the air...period! I was squeeing over last night's show like a cutting tweener squees when Mariska farts. Fan-fucking-tabulous! If you aren't watching this show, I wanna know why. And don't say cause it's "sci-fi", cause really, it isn't. It's a drama that just happens to occur in space. And there are hot chicks, uh huh.
My cup is empty and I've taken 5 minutes of your life that you'll never get back. My job here is done!

Absolutely! absolutely-- it is THE BEST show on the air. period. I couldn't agree more. Comcast On demand put up a BSG "So Far". I saw it and thought, "Okay, why not, I'll give it a try." Okay, one week later, I AM SO HOOKED, it's ridiculous. I pulled out the BSG miniseries, courtesy of my buddy, CB (thank you!) then watched all of Season 1 and I'm TiVoing Season 2 like mad to catch up with the On Demand Season 3 eps.
