I am working on a market study to determine potential demand within a specific geography for a faith-based health resort and destination spa... .

...Mud-wraps, prayer circles, yoga with Jesus...

no, I'm not kidding.
yes, I am gagging a little as I work on it.

Isn't yoga with Jesus kind of... blasphemous? Not that I don't think Christians or Catholics can participate in yoga, it's just that it's so... Hindu ;)

mm-hmm... my thoughts exactly.
I don't come up with the wacky ideas, I just study them and determine market viability- and there may be some demand in this case! ...::to each their own::

I could intuitively give them some feedback on this one without conducting the research...

but then, I wouldn't get paid. :)

so... why can't you claim it's against your religion? Like the pharmacists and doctors who refuse to fill or prescribe for the same reason?

I am... catching up on LJ and wondering when I should go over to my mom's to feed her cats.

Thrilling!

Some flirting. And try to catch as much sleep as I can before hauling ass at 6 a.m. for skydiving.
Oh and I reckon some work in between. Have a drink for me!

Looking out my new office window at the Las Vegas Strip... I can see a few of the casino hotels and the Stratosphere. I'm still adjusting to the time change and complete exhaustion from the 2600 mile move.
I'm still not completely sure that I like it here.

Thanks. My wife and I don't like melting the second we step outside in 103 degree weather. I'm still forming an opinion of Sin City, my wife hated it the minute we drove up thru Boulder City 95. The wacko maniac drivers in Vegas don't help matters. It should be called Insane City.

Sounds like the wife and I think a lot alike. I felt the same way when I drove thru Henderson 20 years ago.

I suspect we will have another really hot summer....by that I mean several weeks of 120+ degree weather. I really hate the summers here.

That's all the California drivers clogging the freeways.

All I see are Nevada State plates driving like Mario Andretti up and down 95 and I-15.

Hehe that was a joke. All the Nevadans that have been here for 20+ years blame the crazy driving and constipated freeways on all the Californians that moved here because it was too expensive to live in there. It's really only partly true. With 6000 people moving here every month it's only logical that we have traffic problems.

Feeling sorry for myself and wondering if plastic surgery post-baby is shallow of me.

Plastic surgery is NEVER shallow. It's a right of passage in many cultures. I am so looking forward to my first face lift. Too bad the women in my family grow old gracefully. I might have to wait until I'm 50 before I am ready to go under the knife.
