Last Week Woes

cabensonDid you ever have one of "those" weeks? You know, the kind where everything that could go wrong does. And just when you think you've caught up from the last mess, another one forms?
Yeah, that was last week. First, the carafe for the coffee maker cracked. And because it was a tall "Stop and pour", we couldn't just put another pot in to collect my magic morning nectar. So, I go to the dungeon and find our old coffeemaker, clean it out, set it up and proceed to carry on with my business.
The next morning, Mrs. CB comes in to kiss me goodbye (she's sweet like that)and whispers, "I updated my computer and it says there is a corrupted file. It won't come up." I "blah-blah-blah" her and go back to sleep. I wake up, grab my coffee, look at her PC and realize that it has crashed. Second crash on one of her systems in less than 6 months. Woe! Thank god for auto restore. I was able to restore her PC, but wouldn't you know it, I couldn't get the wireless network to work. Enter Teh Help Guys from the local Lavender Listings (gay owned/friendly businesses) and we are up and running. Except I have to reinstall a tone of stuff on Mrs. CB's PC. AND re-sort our email files which were oddly jumbled up.
Friday was my first payday so we decided to go out to dinner. Our entree came before our appetizer. And they didn't get me a second drink :( And when I went to deposit my check, I was informed that my driver's license is expired. Guess where I'll be early Saturday morning.
We did our best to help the economy-12 CD's, a new coffee maker (with stainless steel thermal carafe), a new iron (I almost bought a stainless steel iron-I gotta fixation, yo!), a wireless keyboard and mouse for my PC, new sneakers, and some damn fine steaks.
So, I have a few vids left to make, but I'm working on getting clips, so bear with me. I'll be done this week.
