Some asshole in the Ohio House (Ron Hood, R-Ashville)has introduced a bill that would ban Ohio G/L/B/T from adopting children or being foster parents...casue we all know that a child should be kept in care, or with an abusive parent instead of living a happy, pink and lavendar filled life with teh Gayze!!!

State Sen. Robert Hagen has another idea:
Ban GOP Adoptions.

I read about this a few days ago. Thank gawd someone other than you and the mrs know what the heck is going on in Ohio!

And, it's worth noting that CAMPUS MINISTRY has been passing out mardi gras beads today in Catholiland. Hahaha.

Impressive really. How many stories have we all heard about straight foster parents beating, molesting and/or neglecting their foster kids? Too many to count. A frightening number of foster parents are in it for the money, and in Canada if the child is considered 'treatment' you get more money for keeping them. A lot more.
If we let gays and lesbians raise the lost children, they might turn out well adjusted, upstanding, socially conscious and sensitive adults. And these children, in turn, would go on to raise happy, healthy children, obliterating the need for foster parents altogether. We can't have that, now can we?

5 kids have died while in care in a two week period here in Vegas. Guess what???? All but one kid was killed by a straight man....the other was killed by her birth mother. Nice huh. In the state of Nevada gay couples can become foster parents but only one can adopt. Stupid shit.

Ron Hood - D, Ohio- endorsed by the NRA (he voted against having gun owners lock up firearms at home)but he does have a 3-year old daughter at home, he's anti-abortion, anti RU-286, anti-union, anti- a minimum wage increase in OH. Ya gotta love Mardi Gras baby. It's one of my favorite holidays, hell I celebrate it year round. Sober too :) My boobs have been seen by a large percentage of the state of Delaware by this point. Wee!!
