CB's Question of the Week- Version 2.006
Jan. 6th, 2006 03:19 pmI have soooooo much to do, but I just can't focus any longer, so let's do a ?otw (because I don't think I'll have time to do one every day)
No doubt you have all heard the abbreviated names that the media has assigned to celebrity pairings, such as "TomKat" for Tom Crazy and Katie Holmes, or "Brangelina" for Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. Keeping that in mind, this week's question is:
What abbreviated name can you come up with for your fandom pairings/OTP/OT3?
My answer" Well, my user name is kinda of obvious. For Helen and Nikki, I have called them "Swade" and "NikHel". I prefer "Swade", I think.

Date: 2006-01-06 08:31 pm (UTC)Back in my GH days, I was really into the Sonny/Alexis pairing which was called "Sexis" I also liked Alexis and Jax..."Jaxis".
I don't really do the cute nicknames anymore, but I do like to mock them. The HP "Harmonians" are the easiest because...hi...crazy, what up?

Date: 2006-01-06 09:05 pm (UTC)Hikki! :) Okay, I think Swade is pretty good.
I've always enjoyed the variations upon the ev0l Olivia/Maureen pairing: Maulita, since it sounds like either a cocktail or an NYC neighborhood.

Date: 2006-01-07 01:51 am (UTC)I've dubbed Sara/Sofia (CSI) Sassy, but I guess that's more initials than names, so probably doesn't count. (Sofia and Sara Sidle, Yah!)
Barbara/Helena (BoP) Henbar?
B'Elanna/Seven (Voyager) TorridofNine
God I'm useless at these

Date: 2006-01-07 01:54 am (UTC)Oh gawd! Would it surprise you that I initially read this as Barbara/Helen and had a WTF? moment? Then I realized it was BoP and not BG....so single-minded, I am.
