Here's to drunken idiocy in 2006!

Yeah, so we went out last night. There is a reason we usually stay home for NYE...I should never be allowed out in public when drinking, especially when I have my camera. I just uploaded my pics and don't remember taking half of them, especially the ones in the car on the way home. I must admit, I do resemble HRM, Queen Elizabeth 2 with my tiara and royal wave. I GIGANTIC QEII, but royalty nonetheless.

Had a wonderful dinner with artskat and her partner, then we all went to CD for drinking and debauchery. or at least those were my reasons for going. And to Mrs. CB's delight, I wore something nice, although I was craving my jeans in the worst way.

There were way more gay boys there than gay girls. And they were all dressed in one of three ways:
1) Cocktail/Evening gowns looking far too gorgeous
2) Shirts/ties/jackets
3) Cowboy shirts/jeans/boots. It looked like Bear-back Mountain in there.

and then there was Shy Bobby. Mrs. CB says it best.

I think I have a new drink for 2006- The Coffee Martini. I tasted one last night and it was delicious. Apparently I tasted quite a few drinks last night as jandyle and bluepoet can affirm- they got drunk dialed. Hope you gals had a nice New Years Eve after my phone was taken away ;)

I have my pork loin in the oven and Mrs. CB is peeling taters. Gotta put the sauerkraut on, but for anyone who is a Buckeye football fan, it's hard to say this wasn't expected. Such a waste of talent.

As the official "Kraut" of the house, I have to say that it is properly pronounced with a "z" and a really gutteral "r" on the backside. But as my beloved CB reminds me, "Nobody in the USA pronounces it that way."

That dinner makes my mouth water. I will be eating... whatever I can scrounge up here. I went to the grocery store this afternoon and it was CLOSED.

And I was too lazy to go elsewhere. Because I love that store. And will go tomorrow. The pet store was open though, so I bought cat litter. As I put it to my mother, I can't eat, but my cats can crap. But I digress.

I really posted to say that I love coffee martinis. They are my favorite things. Second only to chocolate martinis, because a good dark chocolate martini might be better than sex. The jury's still out on that one.
