cabenson: (Question of the day)

52 weeks ago today, Mrs. CB and I were enjoying a warm, sunny autumn day in Central Park as we walked to The Met.

What were you doing a year ago today. What are you doing tomorrow?

My answer: Tomorrow we will watch the OSU/Michigan game, yelling and screaming at the TV because, well it's the OSU/Michigan game. I'll need a nap in the afternoon and then we are getting dressed up and going out to dinner. And I suppose I'll be writing sometime during the game and/or nap as well.

Oh, and tomorrow I have a dance lesson, brunch, a friend's recital and the ring ceremony and ball. Today I have a parade- half yay, half eep!

I was learning, or just about to learn, that my favorite great aunt died.

Sorry to be Little Miss Bring-Down :)

Oh, and I was also dreading a trip home for Thanksgiving, because I can take criticism from my family over the phone as well as in person ;)

A year ago today I was studying for the CPA exam (which I passed). A year before this coming Monday I created my live journal. Yay fun!

Tomorrow I will be having hot sex hanging out with my lovely girlfriend.

I was getting ready to leave for Australia, a trip that would have a profound effect on the rest of my life. Tomorrow? Studying for the LSAT

Probably sitting at the same desk I am right now, and goofing off from the same boring stupid job...like I am right now.

Tomorrow: Plotting for Turkey Day. (Can one cook a turkey in a kitchen the size of postage stamp? Teh Wife seems to think so.)

A year ago today, I had just arrived at my parents' house after finals and got into a major fight because she's a bitch (and not in a good way).

Tomorrow, I am going to clean the house and spend the day lazing around, since I go to my parents' house on Monday. *grumble*

Well, CB, coincidentally enough, according to my calendar, a year ago today I was out of town in Colombus for work.
Tomorrow, I have an all day board retreat (eight hours on a Saturday! Yuck!) then, I have to do laundry because coincidentally again- I am leaving for NYC the next day. Unfortunately, I am certain I won't have time to walk in Central Park or go to the Met.

This time last year, I was at the "Q" and this was my entry from Nov 18, 2004:

Well. This morning was bull-in-the-ring. It sucked ASS.

My nose is very bruised (I don't think it's broken though, thank dog), my ribs are bruised and my gut is sore. I think someone almost TKO'd me, but I'm proud to say that I held my ground. Especially considering everyone else in my group had at a minimum 15lbs on me. I'm not a happy camper right now, and don't feel like writing so this is it for now.

Tomorrow I'm sleeping in and hoping to get rid of this damn sinus infection.

What a nice question to answer. A year ago, I was in The Netherlands with [livejournal.com profile] coldbeer. I believe that was the day I met a group of her friends, and wasn't nearly as nervous as I thought I'd be. The were extraordinary, just like [livejournal.com profile] coldbeer describes them. They spoke English for me all night and made me feel very welcome. I was shy about referring to my girlfriend by her first name, because I knew I said it clumsily. I'm a dork. She has a hard name. I ate the Dutch version of nachos, which were SO not nachos. One of her friends asked what we had planned for the rest of my stay, and I responded, "Aside from having sex?" before my brain could properly engage my mouth. They all laughed, I think, and one of her friends was particularly adamant that I elaborate.
