Just had my last post-op visit with the surgeon and my snot-holes appear to be A-OK. He joked that I shouldn't worry about nose needles because I was in the "non-torture" room. Yeah, that wasn a relief. I am breathing better already and he said that will continue to improve over the next few months. At this point in time, I am still iffy on how much benefit this will be verses the post-op agony and 6 weeks of enforced sobriety.

Grabbed some groceries and a mega bottle of Quervo on the way home. Mrs. CB has a late interview (good thoughts please) tonight so I grabbed stuff to make Sloppy Ho's for dinner. I also bought pies-one for each of us.

Mrs. CB's printer died a few weeks ago and I installed a new one for her last week. Sometimes, you get bonus programs, like "Hallmark Cards" or "Cook 'n Recipe Organizer". This printer had Mavis Beacon's "Someone please teach CB how to type with those Large Lesbian hands!!!" I am so going to try this. Some time. Down the road.

But for now, I am home, it is freaking gorgeous out, and I am having a tasty margarita.

Good to hear you finally made it to the non-torture room.

I also bought pies-one for each of us.

I do love the way you think. :)

Hope Mrs. CB's interview went well.

Channeling all kinds of good vibrations for the Mrs., here.

I bought a Mavis Beacon typing program when I landed my very first corporate job back-in-the-day. They gave us all Compaq laptops (field work) and while they didn't approve of us loading our own shit on there, they did turn a blind eye if it was at least productive.

To make a long story short (I, know. I, know. Too late!) I believe to this day it was the best tutorial program I ever bought... this was like, 1991.

Of course, I could have just paid attention in high school typing class, but that's not important right now.
