Which character, and it doesn't have to be just one of the four main ones, from The Wizard of Oz do you relate to best and why?

My Answer: The Tinman- I have been accused of being heartless, then overly emotional and I swing a mean fucking ax :)

I think I could be a cross between the lion and Dorothy. There have been plenty of times when all I ever wanted was a little courage, and there have also been plenty of times when I've felt lost.

the scarecrow: I've always wished I were smarter and I like hats- not much of a flannel girl though.

A flying monkey.

What? I figure that's as close to my foul mouthed, knife wielding, pot smoking self as I'm gonna get in wholesome Oz. ;)

Dude, you should read Wicked. Gives you a whole pile of more devious characters...and a different look at the characters you already know.

I mean really. In one part there is a naked man tied to the underbelly of a Tiger, who is then licking the pussy of a naked woman. In Oz. No, I'm not kidding. But I'm betting they left that part out of the musical...

(For the curious, that doesn't give away anything big in the plot, thus not a spoiler really, it was just a scene with deviant behavior.)

Yeah? I see it in the book, too (at least what I have read thus far). Have you both seen the musical and read the book?

Sweet. I'm jealous. T and I are going to go sometime next summer. It's a challenge (and expensive) to get tickets so she can see, so we have to plan it out for a while. But I'm sure it will be worth it! I'm about halfway through the book right now, and I'm loving it!

Dude! I was SO going to say the monkey! But the scary ones from Wizard of Oz 2... the ones with wheels. I'm a monkey on wheels.

Is that a limerick? Hahahahah

The wizard. I'm a recluse, but I like to put on a big show.

You likely already know it was originally written as political satire? That fact facinates me!

I would say Glenda good witch. Because I so wanted that dress when I was little. And the bubbles. And the magic wand.
And we're both probably too nice for our own good.
