Sep. 1st, 2005 09:26 amI am up, not quite "at 'em", and drinking my coffee. Mrs. CB just called to tell me she has misplaced her school keys already-they have been back to school for just 1 full day. I shouldn't laugh, but I am.
I have PT in an hour. We discussed my progress last visit and she did a few tests to see how my nerve, muscles and the lot were reacting to the therapy. I am happy to say that I am a lot stronger and in MUCH less pain. Still having a little nerve flair up, but we are working on that. Flexibility is better, but not where I had hoped it would be and this is because of scar tissue. Because this was a second procedure in the same area, I have twice as much ST to work through. My PT offered to do Pressure Point massage to break it up but guaranteed me that I would be unable to get out of bed the next few days. I only want that kind of guarantee coming from one person and it sure as hell ain't my physical therapist ')
Daddy #3 is flying in today to visit his father who is suffering from a resistant Staph infection. It doesn't look good. This is kinda tough for me as this man is my biological grandfather, something I have wanted since I learned the truth about my parentage, yet I have never been given the chance to form a relationship with him. Daddy #3 didn't think the old man could handle the shock of finding out that he had another grandchild. I saw the old man a couple times a few years ago when I first met Daddy#3 and I guess the next time I see him will be his funeral. Mom thinks I look like the old man..and she's right, I do.
My pusher is coming over with my Bad Girls> fix tonight. Between that and the UK version of BSG-Season 1, I may not leave the house all weekend except that I promised to take Mrs. CB dancing tomorrow night (she dances, I stand there and look prettay).Nah. it's supposed to be gorgeous out, so I'll just, uh, watch them on the lap top ,yea.
I need to do a question of the day again....::pokes at brain::
