I think the wife and I might go see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory today.

If you had a Golden Ticket that allowed you a tour of any business/factory/warehouse in the world, where would you want to go and why?

My answer: It would be a toss up between The Hershey Factory in ole PA 'cause it't like, chocolate, and The Jack Daniels's Distillery in Memphis 'cause that whiskey is M-A-G-I-C!!!!!

You can come to the Bunny ranch here...its still open and going strong. They allow women in there too. I only know that because I watched a special on HBO about it.

I've been to Hershey Factory, way back when I was a girl. Hershey Park is as close to Wonka you can get, I think. They have this sort of ride thing now that shows you how they make the stuff, and at the end you get a small chocolate bar.

Um...I don't know where else I'd like to go.

We went on a field trip to the Wonder Bread factory when I was in grade school. That was interesting.

I would have to go with studio...shoot, I forget the number, but the NBC studio where Crossing Jordan is filmed. Or maybe just the whole of the NBC studios. Because really, I'd love to see the behind-the-scenes world of my favorite TV shows.

Crossing Jordan is filmed on the Universal lot and you can tour it while you're at the Universal Theme Park. You pass JH's parking space and everything. *winks*

(I also strongly recommend the Warner Brothers tour)

Closest I got was the NBC studio in NYC, but we just went to the shopping area, not on a tour.

I went to the Jack Daniel's distillery in Lynchburg last summer. It was AWESOME! It was like Mecca for me.

Something I've always wanted to do and never got the chance even though I grew up (relatively) near it was visit the Crayola factory. I think it was a holdover from that Sesame Street segment (or was it Mister Rogers?) where they show you how crayons are made.
