cabenson: (Dead Tired)

When we found out that the kids would be visiting, Mrs. CB and I decided that we needed to tackle the redecorating/re-arranging projects that have been on hold since my series of unfortunate events. We were desperately in need of a new entertainment center (EC) as the one we had was falling apart. It also seems that I have amassed more DVDs in the past 3 years than Amazon sells in a month. Garage sale anyone?

So a couple days ago, we ventured out in search of an EC that would go with our eclectic color mix of furniture. We found, by sheer accident,
that matched the stuff we had already collected (the collection has been discontinued). Then I walked around and found that matched as well. After two three days of putting things together, taking things apart, and moving it all around, we have a whole new look to our livingroom. We also moved the office around and my Linksys signal seems much better. No more Mrs. CB PC sabotage.

Mrs. CB watched me like a hawk the entire time and kept me from doing anything stupid that would jeopardize my recovery. And I will say that it is the most active I have been in 3 months and it feels good. Except I am so damned tired. And sore, but it's a good sore.

I went to get more hair cut off yesterday because I am all about the shortness right now. We hit the wine store and grabbed some new bottles to put in the new rack. Now it's time for me to grab one of those bottles and put my rack in the tub to soak.

The lovely CB forgot to mention that I earned extra butch points moving the 175 pound box with minimal help.

I do love to watch her eyes glisten as she recharges her Black and Decker!

They look very nice. We are taking bets on which cat we will find sleeping on the EC when we get up. My bet, as always, is my sin-man, Bruin.

I love liquor cabinets, wine racks, wine cellars, the whole wet bar thing... Unfortunately I don't drink, can't drink, actually. So instead I've discovered that watching my girlfriend sip a teeny glass of vodka is a highly erotic experience.

And don't hurt yourself again, dude. Listen to your herculean woman, yo.

We are more wine drinkers than anything else, although Mrs. CB will break out the vodka once in a while. I hardly drink during the summer...it's just too damned hot.

I think she will kill me herself if I blow another disc.
