I just received my MP3player-a SanDisk 1.0 GB-and I am trying to figure out how to use it all the while battling Mr. Shit Head who is trying to eat everything on my desk, including the player.

We went to a different Y yesterday and swam outside for a while before going indoors to swim our laps. It was nice to be outdoors, but it is all open swim, so I can't do laps. And it is infested with children. Shrieking children. Back to the old stomping grounds tomorrow with Madame and the Lane Hog.

Speaking of swimming, I bought a new suit last week. You know those little liner sheets they have in the crotch? I pulled it off, but some of the sticky stuff stayed. My suit has a sticky crotch. We are trying to rectify that situation...quickly.

I am reading Harry Potter and The Order of The Phoenix in preparation for next week's arrival of the new book. Who else on my flist reads HP? Come on...say it outloud. I am also reading some graphic novels. I think they should make an Aquaman movie. I love movies that take place underwater (The Abyss, Poseidon Adventure, Airport '77) and I think a live action Aquaman would rule.

I made spaghetti for lunch. There is no extra.

Same thing happened to my new suit! I got it when coldbeer was visiting. She picked all the sticky stuff off. And I'm sure you know what that chore must have been like. She loves me.

stargazer1960 worked on my crotch a little bit ago(not that crotch you perv)and got a bit of it off. We are gonna use some slick paper from my labels and try to iron it off.

When OotP came out I spent the whole day in bed reading it. I was afraid to check lj because it seemed like my whole flist was reading it as well. I'm gonna attempt to read HBP in one sitting as well. I know myself well enough to know I won't want to put it down.

I can't believe it's next Saturday. I pre-ordered mine off Amazon on December 21st, seems like forever ago.

NO!!!!! I have 2 days worth of leftovers. Tell me next week and I'll explain how my grandmother saved me from choking and I "thanked" her for it at the dinner table.

And kudos for the weight loss!! I am trying to go underweight because of two back surgeries in 20 mos. It will help take pressure off my lumbar spine.
