If you could have drinks with anyone, dead or living, who would it be and why?

Can't get on their dancecard, though.

No, CB can't mix her vicadin with vodka. I need that just to get through the school year.

Noel Coward or Cole Porter.

Ysy - you're back.

I probably shouldn't say "back." I hope you're feeling better, cb!

Hmm - if you mean "one drink," I'd have to say Christopher Meloni, hee. He'd probably be fun for a conversation, too. But I'd probably choose my mother, because I miss her. And we could toast the Red Sox winning the World Series!

I do want to be invited to theholyinnocent's cocktail party, though. It sounds like a good guestlist.

Haha. You won't get invited to [livejournal.com profile] theholyinnocent's party if you are a Red Sox fan.

I am working at returning on a full time basis. I'll know more after some tests next week. Thanks!

That's a tough one, because I'm always torn between choosing a person whom I could learn from/share a bit of history with, or just giving in to the shallow and choosing someone just to gaze at them.

History-type person: Dorothy Parker. I bet she would have a thousand stories to tell.

Shallow: Chow Yun-Fat. So sublime.

Hey, CB, glad to see you're up and about enough to be online. Hope the back is getting better!

I'd like to have a drink with my grandfather--my dad's dad. He died when my mom was pregnant with me, and from what I hear, he was an extraordinarily kind and thoughtful man (not like my dad at all, ha!).
