The jury has reached a verdict and Jackson is en route. The verdict is supposed to be read at 4:30pm ET, but Jacko is running late. I think he will be spending the night behind bars for a very long time. But was it a set up?
Thoughts?
ETA: Aquitted on all accounts. I thought for sure they would convict on the alcohol charges. Lord knows my ass would be convicted if I gave alcohol to minors.

Date: 2005-06-13 10:31 pm (UTC)Let me first say this: Michael Jackson is guilty of being a serious freak. Do I think he molests boys? Probably. In my opinion, there is no excuse for snuggling up w/ young boys in bed.
The problem was the case: it was weak. The accuser changed his story many, many times. His mother/family is guilty of being scam artists. They sued JC Penney's, for chrissakes. They committed welfare fraud. They claimed George Lopez stole money from the boy. They reached out to celebrities and tried to play the sympathy card for money. MJ might have molested boys, but I wonder if he actually molested this one.
Sneddon, in my opinion, didn't do a good job convincing the jury of the guy's guilt. He didn't convince me of it.
