Swam 10 laps today but faltered on my backstroke. I popped my shoulder out about 15 years ago (don't ask)and it was a little tight. I am really enjoying the swimming thing and I am nowhere near as sore as I was Monday. My only problem is the older man who takes up a whole lane floating on his back-back and forth. I have no problem with him being there, only that he is there for a long time and no one can share his lane. And he hocks in the pool. Yuck! Our "Madame" lady is really nice and says hello everytime we are there. She always asks about my back too. I really like the people there.

With our membership, we get a free fitness eval and a program structured to our needs. I need to work on overall core strenghth (abs and back muscles)as well as strengthening my legs-pinched/inflamed nerves can cause latent damage and I am trying to avoid that at all costs. We need to make appointments for these evals, but I showed Mrs. CB the gym area today and she was impressed. Impressed enough that we went shopping for swim suits and work out shorts/tees. I bought a suit that shows my back scar...back surgery is sonotpretty.

Still debating on the hair cut. Mrs. CB kinda likes the idea of a Season 3 Benson cut, but I am concerned that it will get freaky with curls. It's been 20 years since I have had it that short. And I think I'll pass on the Carol Brady shag (see icon). Maybe [livejournal.com profile] slammerkinbabe could make a "Hairstyles" poll to help me decide. Hair styles, lengths, textures. products. I'd like to know what people think of premature gray as well. Sexy? or "you look like an old hag?"

In playing around with the TV this week, we realized that we need to consider a new entertainment center. I looked around on line and saw nothing I liked. We have a corner unit that is loosing a base piece and we want to move furniture around and go with a wall unit. Any volunteers to come move junk around since I can't? I'll provide the booze and all the cat hair you can handle. And pizza. And maybe, just maybe, pie.

The wife has salt and pepper hair; and, I love it. It is distinguished and freakin' hot. Unfortunately, she hates the gray. Instead of coloring it, she gets it glazed. Looks terrific.

I don't know how Mrs. CB will feel about it. I am so tired of coloring it.

Soooo, Mrs. CB has never seen your natural color hair???? I do know couples that have never seen the spouse without the dentures. If we are too shy to ask Mrs. CB, we may have to take a poll, have subliminal fortune cookies made, or just plain get pictures of other prematurely gray people place them around the house and put a nanny cam out to study her reactions.
