It's All About My Pants
Aug. 19th, 2005 04:37 pmToday is the second-to-last Friday I get to hang with Mrs. CB before she returns to the task of educating society's teenagers. Many people associate "back to school shopping" with getting kids ready. They forget that the teachers need new haircuts, shoes, clothes, underwear and socks. So do the partners of teachers.
We went to a brand-spanking new Target store (still had that "new store" smell)and picked up a few things to prepare for the new school. I found the perfect pair of underwear for work...I almost bought extra pairs so I could wear them everyday. From now on when those bitches start their shit, I'm gonna unzip my fly and show them ( this ). Fair warning and all.
And it seems that everyone is trying to get into my pants, including ( our cat, Pecker )
We are supposed to see a play in the park tomorrow but they are calling for severe(omgyay!) storms, so alternate plans have been made to meet up with friends at a jazz bar...a GAY jazz bar. Love that place. We are striving to be more socially active as my back progresses, albeit slowly. I miss seeing my friends.
In other news, our house was re-valued at almost $22,000 more than what we paid for it and that was on exterior views only. The interior modifications will up the value even more. So I guess it was worth it to blow out my back doing working on the house.
Pizza, more margaritas, and Sci-Fi Friday Nights tonight. Five cuddly kitties and a wife with a smoking new haircut. Life is good :)
