What's shaking, my babies?

Haven't posted in a while-been crazy busy with work and trying to establish some semblance of a social life. Okay, you got me-I've been ass deep in Stargate: SG-1 fanfic. But I have an excuse, really I do. The tiny pea-sized cyst I had on my back went nuclear and I now have a two inch wide abcess right next to my incision site. It's a bit on the red and sore side, but a trip to my favorite doc tomorrow should clear it all up. I've been trying to piss Mrs. CB off enough that she would just stab me in the back, but woe is me: she seldom if ever takes the bait.

We will be celebrating Teh Gay Pride this weekend. Mrs. CB is marching with some kids from Kaleidoscope-not sure if I'm going or not. I would like to go out Friday night to the "Rocking in the Parking Lot" concert that we attended last year. Suppose I ought to look inyo who's performing. I'd rather go to ComFest- good music, food, booze, and enough pot being smoked to get a contact high.

Bruin and Greyson have their annual check ups tomorrow, It will be the first time I haven't taken Bruin to the vet. At least this will allow me to be the "good mama" when he gets home. Greyson, well, I am sure something will be said about how fat he has gotten just as I'm sure my doc will harp on how I haven't lost any additional weight in the last 3 months. Docs and vets, ahhh fuck 'em.
