Dec. 29th, 2009 03:45 pmI am officially on "staycation" until next Monday. I have a million things to do around the castle, but all I wanna do is put on my jamies and be a lazy ho. Must do "just friends are coming over" cleaning of house for Friday and hit the grocery store, but otherwise...staying put! Just wanna cuddle with the boys and Mrs CB.
Have a couple post to make: one about Xmas and one about the end of the year/decade type thing. Some peeps think the decade ends when we hit "0" as the year ends, some when we hit "1". I don't fucking care, I just want 2009 to be over. With a few exceptions (Hello, Elders NYC 2009 and Otalia), this year really sucked.
Got BFFs coming over on Fri to watch the Rose Bowl. GO BUCKEYES!!! Making chili with all the fixins' and they are (hopefully) bringing Bourbon cake. Besides beer, what alcoholic drink goes well with chili? I am leaning towards margaritas. And what else goes with chili besides cornbread?
May go see "Avatar" 3D with the co-workers I really like. The theater has a bar :) As much as I post about drinking, I am failing to live up to my legend. Over a 4 day holiday vaca? Split a bottle of champagne with Mrs CB, had a half glass of Mr. Pinot and a single pour of Bourbon. I suck at drinking through my dasy off. I hope it is temporary.
Gonna go take care of the boys as Mrs CB has had a rough day. She took her car in last week for a 40K mile check up and today the "check engine" light came on. Many stripper dollars later, the car is fixed and she is at the dentist. I hope she feels like being a lazy ho tonight too.
